Race Details

Location

The start/finish line location is the same as prior years – just behind the Greater Valley YMCA Bethlehem Branch (430 E Broad St, Bethlehem, PA 18018).

This year registration for the race will take place at: The Center Lehigh Valley Church,  529 E. Broad St.  Bethlehem, Pa.  18018

Packet Pickup Dates

Packet Pick-up for the race will NOT be taking place at/inside of the YMCA this year.  We are partnering with the church across the street from the YMCA.  Please notify our runners that the times (same as last year for both Friday (4:30-6:30 pm) and Saturday (7:00-8:45 am) will remain the same, but the location has changed.

Parking
Parking is accessible next to the church and packet pick-up will take place inside the east entrance to the church (lobby facing E. Broad St.). Parking is still permitted at the YMCA but only the lower parking lot.  Please reserve the upper parking lot spaces for YMCA members.

Dogs
Sorry, dogs are not currently permitted to participate.

Baby Strollers
Yes, you may use a baby stroller. Use caution and be safe. If the temperatures are too cold or the path is snow-covered, we recommend leaving junior at home.

Course
The 5K course will be the same course as used in previous years for the Candy Cane 5K. The 5-mile course will look very familiar to the course we ran prior to not running the race in 2020 and 2021.We will have volunteers offering course guidance as well as marked course signs.

Awards
No cash awards this year.  Ribbons and swag/gear bags for top two finishers male/female in the 5-miler and 5k events.

COSTUME CONTEST
We will be observing individuals and groups in costume throughout the event. We will select two individuals and one group (up to 4 people). We hope to announce the winners PRIOR to the end of the race day and will also award winners with a swag/gear bag and post pictures on Facebook.
