ABOUT TED BRUNNER
Following his graduation from Philadelphia Biblical University, Ted entered into a career of teaching and coaching at Plumstead Christian School. In the summer of 2003, He stepped away from his career to explore a new avenue of ministry. It was in the Fall of 2005 where Ted took his two oldest sons to an FCA-sponsored breakfast event at a local restaurant. As he listened, he became more interested in the prospect of engaging in a ministry that proclaimed Jesus Christ through the sharing of His Word. He became more excited about doing this using a sports-based platform that would enable him to enter right into the region’s public (and private) schools all the way to the college level!
Ted has worked as part-time staff since 2006 and transitioned into full-time ministry with FCA in the summer of 2010. His passion is to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of students, coaches, teachers, parents (anyone!) who desire to become more like Christ and use their gifts/abilities to serve Him!
He is happily married to his college-sweetheart and partner in ministry Wanda and enjoys spending time with his family!
ABOUT AMANDA KISER
Amanda G. Kiser, is the Area Representative for Northern Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Maine, after graduating and completing the one-year program in Biblical Theology at New Brunswick Bible Institute, Canada, she headed to Word of Life Bermuda for their summer camping internship. Leaving there with the growing desire to pursue International Missions, she headed to her parent’s hometown in Pennsylvania to pursue the skill of cosmetology so she could use it as tool on the mission field. Here the Lord started planting the desire for American homeland missions, and from 2008-2017 she used her opportunities in the salon to share Jesus.
A new stirring began in her heart, with the desire to invest spiritually in young women, she took an assistant coaching position with a high-school girls basketball team. From this grew an opportunity for a full- time position with FCA, a ministry she knew well of that had led her Dad to faith in Jesus as a young athlete himself.
Now she is heading into her third summer of getting to see the world impacted by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.
Amanda currently resides in Souderton, PA with her best friend, and loving husband Matthew.
